Yes. I doubt immensely that the Unblue product is accessing VMware servers. If they did )and one could prove it) it would be time for the lawyers - who most likely would drive Unblue out of business 
The program does work fine on Windows hosts and its saved me a lot of time. I had to disable it from starting with Windows however. CCleaner does a good job with that.
