This is possibly, the most dangerous process I have attempted in my IT experience. Yes the script works, but upon VM migration, or restart, the MAC ADDRESS WILL CHANGE. This creates a new NIC on the VM Which removes any static or dynamic IP Addressing. I'm in day three of cleaning this mess up. Please be careful with this command. when the NIC change takes place, we've seen VM's freeze and become non responsive. The worst part of this situation is that problems sporadically manifest themselves. It has been over a week since we ran the script and are just now having issues.
