Re: add action to the root node of the object collection in vcenter web client sdk

Global actions like you ask are not supported in 5.1 but this is fixed in the upcoming 5.5 SDK.

If you need your plugin to work with Web Client 5.1 you will need to put your global action in another view, for instance to create new objects.
